Conditions générales de vente
1/ LENGTH OF STAY
The guest agrees to respect their booking dates. The stay is for a fixed period. Under no circumstances may the guest claim any right to remain on the premises.
Minimum length of stay:
Minimum of 2 nights for all accommodation.
2/ BOOKING FORMALITIES, DEPOSIT ON BOOKING
Bookings can be made using:
– either the booking form directly on the website and online payment,
– or by telephone and payment by bank transfer to the Domaine de la Belle Verte account.
Reservation:
The reservation becomes effective once the guest has sent the owner a deposit of 50% of the total cost of the stay by bank transfer or cash, within 7 days of the request. If the deposit is not paid within the specified time frame, the accommodation will be automatically re-let and the reservation will be cancelled.
The full amount for the stay will be required on the day of departure.
A confirmation email will be sent to the guest specifying the dates of the stay and the total amount.
Last-minute bookings made less than 14 days in advance:
These become effective once the customer has sent the owner 100% of the total amount of the stay by instant bank transfer no later than two days in advance, subject to confirmation by telephone with the owners.
No keys or access to the accommodation will be provided without this payment.
A confirmation email will be sent to the guest specifying the dates of the stay and the total amount.
Accepted methods of payment:
– bank transfer (bank details available on request)
– instant bank transfer (bank details available on request) for last-minute bookings
– cash
– French bank cheque (made payable to SAS Le Domaine de la Belle Verte) for deposits only
3/ CANCELLATION OF THE STAY BY THE CUSTOMER
Depending on the date of cancellation of the booking, all or part of the amount of the stay will be charged (the date of cancellation will be the date of dispatch of a letter (as evidenced by the postmark) or an email:
– Two (2) weeks or more before the start date of the stay: the owner undertakes to refund the customer the full amount paid;
– Between the 13th and 8th day before the start date of the stay: the owner shall refund the amount of the stay minus the deposit paid;
– Less than eight (8) days before the start date of the stay, the deposit and the balance of the stay shall be retained in full by the owner.
NB:
– In the event of early departure during the stay, the owner retains the full amount of the stay,
– A later arrival by the customer does not change the initial departure date. The booking dates remain fixed, as does the amount of the stay.
4/ CANCELLATION INSURANCE
No cancellation insurance is included in our prices.
5/ CANCELLATION OF THE STAY BY DOMAINE DE LA BELLE VERTE
If, before the start of the stay, the owner is forced to cancel a guest's booking, the guest will be notified by email (if known) or by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt.
The guest will then be fully reimbursed for any sums already paid.
The owner may also terminate a stay, without prior notice and without compensation or refund, in the cases specified in paragraphs 9 and 10.
6/ ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIMES
Guests must arrive on the day specified in their booking between 4pm at the earliest (when your room will be ready for you) and 8.30pm at the latest.
In the exceptional event of a late or delayed arrival, guests must inform the owner.
The room must be vacated by 11:00 a.m. at the latest on the day of departure (cleaning included, to be done by the guest unless the cleaning option has been paid for).
7/ BREAKFAST SERVICE
Breakfasts are delivered to your door between 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., with the time to be agreed upon the day before.
8/ OUR PRICES
Our prices and conditions are non-contractual and subject to change without notice, except for advance bookings.
Accommodation prices include all taxes (VAT included).
Guest room prices include breakfast.
Tourist tax is included in the prices.
9/ CAPACITY AND ACCESS
Reservations are made for a specific number of people. If the number of people present exceeds the initial reservation, the cost of the stay will be adjusted accordingly.
However, if the number of people exceeds the capacity of each accommodation, any additional people not included in the reservation will be refused.
NB: The total capacity of the site is regulated to a maximum of 15 people.
Please do not lose your keys: any loss will incur an additional charge of €80 including VAT. This amount will be added to your bill at the time of your departure as compensation.
Out of respect for the peace and quiet of our guests, access to the Domaine de la Belle Verte is STRICTLY reserved for our guests. Guests undertake not to receive visitors unless authorised to do so. In the event of non-compliance, the booking may be terminated immediately without compensation.
10/ ACCESSIBILITY OF SERVICES
In the event of force majeure, severe weather conditions or external incidents, Domaine de la Belle Verte cannot guarantee the regularity of water, electricity and internet services, regardless of the duration of any outages or malfunctions, nor can it guarantee against any sudden closure of the site caused by circumstances beyond its control.
Domaine de la Belle Verte declaims all responsibility beyond its legal liability for any deprivation or reduction in use not caused by it; for any breakdown or failure of technical equipment, if the malfunction and repairs were unforeseeable.
11/ PETS
As Domaine de la Belle Verte is not enclosed and in order to preserve the peace and quiet of all our guests, passers-by near the estate, the horses of the Théâtre Equestre that we host and our own pets (cat and dog), we cannot accept other pets.
12/ SAVOIR VIVRE AND USE OF THE PREMISES
In order to ensure peace and quiet and comfort for all, guests are required to adhere to a certain art of living:
– Smoking (tobacco, vapes and e-cigarettes) is prohibited on the estate, both indoors and outdoors (including outdoor seating areas and gardens) for reasons of health, ecology and the well-being of all residents.
– The guest undertakes to return the accommodation in the condition in which they received it (see: signed check-in/check-out document). In the event of loss and/or damage to any part of the rental property (furnishings and fixtures), the guest undertakes to report this immediately and to cover the cost if they are liable under their insurance policy or personally.
The same applies to any equipment made available to them during their stay.
In the event of unreported loss or damage, Domaine de la Belle Verte reserves the right to use all or part of the deposit to repair the accommodation. If the deposit is insufficient, Domaine de la Belle Verte will take all necessary legal action to this end.
– Domaine de la Belle Verte declaims all responsibility in the event of loss, theft, damage or injury caused to property or persons on the estate, for whatever reason.
– Minors, whether in the house or in the garden, are the sole responsibility of their parents or guardians.
– As the house is self-sufficient in terms of wastewater treatment via a phytosanitary sanitation system (plant filtration), it is forbidden to throw anything other than toilet paper into the toilets: tampons, sanitary towels, condoms, kitchen waste water, dishwashing water, grease, cleaning products other than those provided by the Domaine…
Failure to comply with these rules may block the pipes, destroy the plant filtration system that ensures its proper functioning, and render the sanitary facilities inoperable. Therefore, the deposit will be systematically and automatically forfeited with no possible recourse.
Guests agree to respect the rules of good manners and neighbourliness:
- avoid noise pollution and prolonged disturbances during the day and at night,
- dress appropriately; swimwear is only permitted on private terraces,
- no smoking or vaping, even outdoors,
- respect the cleanliness of the premises and the natural environment,
- respect water resources (showers, washing up) and electricity (heating, lights: this is an estate, not Versailles :)),
- sort waste and store bins according to the instructions provided by the Domaine (see: welcome booklet and check-in).
