Sophro-yoga

Combining gentle postures and relaxation provides real well-being through emotional and physical balance.

Sophro-yoga is a wellness method that represents a rich and powerful alchemy between two complementary worlds, offering a wide range of benefits, from effective stress management to improved concentration, emotional balance, self-confidence and better quality sleep.

The combination of yoga and sophrology has many advantages for those seeking a path to holistic well-being. It opens up a space for curiosity and exploration for people accustomed to either yoga or sophrology, offering them new perspectives and complementary approaches to enrich their practice.

This union is an invitation to a journey of discovery where each session is an opportunity to reconnect with oneself, explore new facets of one's well-being, and find a deeper and more satisfying balance in life.

Yoga-Pilates

The Pilates method provides deep muscle strengthening through gentle, controlled movements.

It improves body awareness and control of movement.

It allows you to channel and control your breathing to develop fluidity and precision in your movements.

Combining yoga and Pilates: what are the results?

Combining these two sports makes them more invigorating and dynamic, and amplifies their benefits for the body and mind.

Practicing both activities at once allows deep muscles to strengthen, but also to relax through stretching.

Yoga of Sound

Yoga of sound is a meditative discipline that delves into the world of sound vibrations to promote physical and mental well-being. This practice is based on a fundamental principle: sound is a universal force capable of influencing our inner state and promoting deep harmony.

This practice uses sound as a means of discovering the links between harmonics and our consciousness. Through techniques such as exploring vocal vibrations, discovering instruments, and using source sounds and vowels, sound yoga seeks to promote unity between our inner selves and the world around us.

What are the benefits?

First of all, deep relaxation: escape from everyday life and let yourself be lulled by waves of sound. Your brain waves slow down, you relax physically and mentally, you are close to sleep and completely present.

Sound vibrations affect us on all levels: physical, emotional and mental. They are ideal for treating sleep disorders, stress, depression, concentration problems... or simply for relaxation.

In this vibrational universe, you will travel through sounds and instruments from five continents... without jet lag! Drums, Tibetan and crystal bowls, gongs, shruti boxes, chants, harps, innate instruments, koshi chimes, handpans...

It is a total immersion in another world with different auditory, spatial and sensory references. It doesn't need effort or contact, and gently promotes balance and well-being.

Prenatal yoga

Benefits of yoga for pregnant women:

In addition to an improved nervous system balance, awareness of the spine, stiffness and blockages to relieve back pain and the discomfort of hormonal changes associated with pregnancy, yoga offers many other benefits for pregnant women.

Indeed, the list of physiological benefits of prenatal yoga postures (asanas) is long: body awareness, improved breathing, energy, adapted movements, relaxation and preparation for pain...

Prenatal yoga also helps to:

  • stimulate blood circulation and oxygenation of cellular tissues,

  • relieve minor pregnancy discomforts such as nausea, heavy legs, varicose veins, back pain and sciatica,

  • balance the nervous system and promote a positive state of mind, becoming aware of one's body image and abilities,

  • Develop and maintain pelvic mobility for greater comfort during pregnancy and an easier delivery, even for a first baby. This prevents the spine from slumping and the abdominal muscles from stretching forward as the baby gains weight in the womb,

  • Work out the pelvic floor muscles,

  • Become aware of your centre of gravity to move with fluidity and flexibility,

  • Relax and release stress,

  • Breathe better to enjoy your pregnancy more.

  • Regain energy, give birth consciously and gently,

  • Connect with your baby, create communication, and be more attuned to your feelings.

Yoga therapy

The primary definition of yoga therapy is the specific use of yoga tools applied to the relief of physical pain.

It is an individualised and personalised practice.

What is yoga therapy used for?

Yoga therapy is a form of yoga recognised for its effectiveness in both preventing and treating people suffering from chronic or temporary pain.

It complements conventional medicine to alleviate pain related to physiological problems or the side effects of certain treatments. Yoga therapy aims to relieve pain, ease tension and tone muscles to better protect the skeleton and organs.

In yoga therapy, we combine adapted postures designed to alleviate specific pains with breathing exercises, meditation and relaxation.

The most important thing is to combine this comprehensive approach with constant awareness of the body. This allows us to perceive its signals, whether positive or negative, by learning to listen subtly to the messages it sends us.

Tension and pain are manifested, localised and identified... a first step towards their relief.

This practice cannot replace conventional medical monitoring or treatment and, depending on the condition, prior medical advice.
